(fantastic butterfly Bodo!!!)

For Australia Day, I managed to work out how to fold Nicolás Gajardo Henríquez's "Playtpus" from a vague crease pattern I found online. I am very happy with the result - the model features lovely colour changes for the duck-bill and flippers.

More about this, number 26 in my 365 origami challenge for 2017 can be found here: http://www.wonko.info/365origami/?p=5587
I fold therefore I am.

With time to "lose" during France's awesome victory in the Handball World Cup semi-finals today, I tried some miniature folding for once.

Gerwin Sturm's diamondrose, 2.2cm square double tissue.
Not quite perfect, and it's more a generic flower than the very cute rose, but it's still something

The holidays fold, finally photographed ! (kinda hard to find the right angle to show off all the amazing details, but the result quite satisfies me :D )

I especially love the way the wing claws are created, and the overall position. And the wingspan.

On with the photos from last holidays, but instead of the detailed dinosaur, this time I give you cuteness & simplicity ^.^

I have a new tarantula model, but I can't embed it from my phone. It's on my Flickr, though.

No, I don't. I can think two possible reasons though. First the Forum might not be able to identify the size of the picture, but usually that should yield to an error when trying to submit the post, so I don't think that's the case. Second, the Website that hosts the picture doesn't allow direct linking.

However I made it into a link, so it is now clickable.

This month's folding challenge on the French forum : big thanks to Tong Liu who published the diagrams on his Flickr account.

Yet another rooster for the year of the ... rooster :D I really like the sheer elegance and simplicity of this model. The comparison with Tong Liu's more-heavily-shaped version is also quite fun and shows two different models altogther !

Origami Magic Ball by Yuri Shumakov. I modified it and folded it from 64 by 32 grid instead of 32 by 16 grid.
