Bodo,
Again a great design, beautifully realized.
Gerard paper seems to be highly suitable for these kind of models. Unfortunately, it is in the same price range as Origamido.

@Gerardo: Thank you very much
@Splunge: Thank you ! At Origami-shop, both are really expensive. I bought the Gerard paper at the german convention, it's a lot cheaper there.

That's really good Bodo! There are very few skeleton designs that are made from 1 uncut square.
Cyclommatus metallifer aenomicans, designed by Baltorigamist and folded by me.
It was pretty fun to fold, though I think I may have messed up a little in the head section.

Nice one!Bodo wrote:This is another Asymmetric model I designed.
How is it asymmetric?
Is it the same kind of CP shape we can see in Kamiya Satoshi Ryujin (model also looks symmetric, but CP really isn't)?

@binky: Thank you very much !
@Kabuntan: Kind of, yes. I uploaded the CP on my twitter and on instagram

Re: What have you folded lately?
I folded Robert J Lang's Salt Creek Tiger Beetle from the cp in ODS2. I used a 48cm square of tracing paper. I think it is a little bit too thin and the skinny legs didn't hold their shape well.

I actually wasn't intending to fold this. I was going to fold one of my own designs (hopefully posted soon) that used a 40x40 grid, but I accidentally made a 48x48 grid. I remembered that the salt creek tiger beetle used a 48x48 grid too so I just folded that.

sinantozluoglu, welcome to the forum! Would you please share the nam.e of the model and of its creator? It helps give credit to the people that deserve it and it also helps everyone learn something important about the model .

Dancing crane by Robert J Lang
I used a 48cm sheet of tracing paper. It didn't' hold the wing feather creases very well, but I'm very satisfied with the result. I didn't even need MC!

With considerable tongue in cheek, I present a model which demonstrates just how strong paper can be. I call it –

Re: What have you folded lately?
Hi, I'm back after a while without posting. For some reason I kept on putting off posting here. I also created a model for the April Design Challenge but neglected to post it. Hopefully I can create something for the July one.
Back to the topic, here are some models I folded recently from the Works of Satoshi Kamiya 1&2 which I obtained about a month ago.
Mammoth, folded from a 35cm square of kami:

Ancient Dragon, folded from a 45cm square of Kraft. Unfortunately the quadrilateral I cut once again was not square. That and the small size of the paper meant my fold wasn't that neat. Hopefully sometime I'll find some bigger and better (and hopefully colourful) paper and fold it again:

Lion, folded from a 30cm square of Nicolas Terry Tissue Foil. This model was quite interesting to fold and finished with a very nice result:

Wizard, folded from a 35cm square of Tant. I probably should have folded this with thinner paper:

Here's a combination photo of some of the above models. It was hard to photograph because I had to lean backwards off an arch to take it:
Dramatic Battle - Satoshi Kamiya by Goldtiger997, on Flickr
I've also uploaded some slightly less recent folds on flickr.
