Masks. This is actually a suitability test for my own handmade paper.

I know what you mean, they do look like an owl and a heart. Boy... one fold models can be WAY complicated :?

Phoenix 3.5

Designed by Satoshi Kamiya.
Folded by me from a 50 cm square of tissue foil. This is one of my all time favourite models. I have ordered WOSK2 but it hasn't arrived yet. I was to inpatient to wait for the book so I folded this model from CP. Since I folded it from CP I have no idea how to fold the wings the correct way. So I came up with my own way of doing them. I will fold this again though from the diagrams when my copy of the book arrives. I am really happy with the way this turned out. I hope you like it :D

I commend you for folding Montroll. He's a great origami artist and I think that his models are some of the coolest.

It's been (quite) a while, but I folded Fernando Gilgado's Mad Cow for a gift. 12 inch (30cm) square of homemade tissue foil.

Phoenix 3.5

Designed by Satoshi Kamiya. Folded by me from a 50cm square of tissue foil. I still haven't got the book but I came up with another idea on how to fold the wings. As you can see there are 2 rows of feathers on the inside instead of the normal 1 row.

Here is a picture of the yellow and orange one together. I will fold a red one to accompany these 2 phoenixes when I get the book! I hope you like it :D
