Hi all,

I have folded a new dwarf for my Jazz Band, the fourth: THE FLAUTIST. Here are some pics. As always you can find more about this model in my blog http://www.picaruelo.com

Wish I made a test fold first. This is hard not to wrinkle with foil >.<

I don't know who designed it, I just stumbled on this video: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMzAxMDYzMzEy.html
You can make it more 3d by folding the heart on both the back and front of the model.

Looks good for a first attempt but yes I can imagine that it's really hard with foil paper.
This could be the designer:

I don't think that's the designer. According to their website:
"This origami Wing Heart is a beautiful origami papercraft folded by using two sheets of paper, one sheet is used to fold the origami heart and the other for the origami wing"
I think the designer would know whether it's folded from one sheet of paper or not lol!

Well it has been a few years since I last posted. Not as intense into paper folding. When I fold, which is not that often, I usually fold intermediate models. The stuff in Roman Diaz' books are my favorites.

But I thought I would challenge myself, and so I folded Kamiya's Unicorn from some of Origami Shop's "tissue foil."

Origami Puzzle Box
You must pull and twist several times to open this box
Both the puzzle and the origami folds required to make the model are my original design.
