WOW Neelesh k. So complex :D!

This is what I've recently folded:

Back

It's my fold of Galicia Star created by Víctor Núñez. Simple and fun to fold. I think the diagrams are in the Pajarita 2017 convention book. I appreciate it if someone can confirm this :).

They're all folds for earrings:

Image
Nativity Stable, created by me in 2011.
-Wrapping paper made from brown kraft paper.
-It has clear nail polish coatings.

Image
Boxed Fortune Teller, created by me in 2015.
-Handmade paper made by the origamist Fabian Correa.
-It has PVA wood sealant coatings.

Once my friend turns them into earrings and shares pictures with me, I'll share them with you as well :).

Thanks Gerardo :) Love your colorful folds as well!

I made this recently:
ORIGAMI: HAND SHADOW PUPPETS!

Image

Designed and Folded by me from a single uncut square sheet of 25 cm tracing paper
Finished size ~ 7 cm
16x16 grids boxpleating

As a kid I used to enjoy playing with these hand shadow puppets, in the candlelight, when the electricity was out XD Dark but Fun times...

Thought it'd be interesting to combine two art forms. Hope you guys like it!
And wish you all a very Happy New Year :)

@Neelesh k
Very unique idea and great realization.

@Andre-4
It is hard to see anything on your pictures for a variety of reasons.
Please read the following tips carefully and try to make some new photos.
1) Add more light. Place a light-source (lamp) right next to your model. Even better if you have more than one so that you can place them left right and above, to really make your model shine.
One important note: Don't place light or windows behind your model. It would make them appear very dark.
2) Only one model per photo, nothing else.
3) Use a large paper as background. Bend the large paper like an L. You can tape the top part to the wall for example and place your model on the horizontal part.
4) Put some distance between your model and the camera. I know this seems weird, but your camera will not be able to focus correctly if it almost touches the model. Try taking the model very near to your eyes like 5 or 10 cm, can you see it clearly? Then hold it a little further away, like for example 30cm. I bet you're having an easier time seeing it clearly now. For your camera it is all the same. So give it the distance it needs. You can always crop the picture afterwards (if you need help with that, just ask).

5) If you have some time to spare, read through these two topics and look at the pictures:

Good luck and I'm looking forward to some improved photos of yours.

NeverCeasetoCrease, you're getting really good at taking pictures :). One suggestion, choose a frame that doesn't show parts of the house in order to maintain the illusion of a deer in the forest.

This is my most recent fold:

Image

It's one more fold I made of Pedal Bin created by me in 2013.

I made some improvements regarding the 2013 fold. In order to make it, I folded together four rectangular and one square sheet of different sizes. I also inserted two rectangular and two triangular cuts of dense boxboard plus a kite cut of Formica laminate.

I made the fold as an incentive so someone would donate six blocks of colored paper for a day-care center that's for "underprivileged" kids.

Let me know what you think. I'll fold another one very soon :).
