Actually, I think "Lamali" is the name of the company and "Lokta" is a type of paper made by this company.
It's a very nice handmade paper ! And I read on Nicolas Terry's twitter that he was going to sell lokta paper on origami-shop...

This is one of the models, where you need a title. On the first look I thought that it is deer with strange antlers.

It's been a while !

I present you two of my latest designs, a phoenix and a totem :

Image

Designed and folded by me from an uncut square of VOG paper.
Very difficult to get a nice photo of this one, I'm still fighting with the camera... I'll post a better photo soon but for the moment I post this one to give an idea of the design itself.

Image

Totem, designed and folded by me from a rectangle of Vivaldi paper, treated and painted.
The model is approximatively 30 cm high.
I'm currently working on a series of totems, inspired by different cultures and civilizations.
This one is my first try, my goal here is just to show the general shape of the totems that will come after, I didn't really have a picture in mind while folding it.
As often with totems, the man is above the beast, to suggest an idea of domination on evil.
Next time I'll try to fold a totem with an eagle head above...

I hope you like it !

Oh my. Those are fantastic designs! The detail on the Phoenix is incredible, and the totem pole could easily be changed to the folder's satisfaction.

Really cool models.
