The question is : Is this Ryujin a Back Open model or a Belly Open Model?

hey, everybody knows that this dragon is a great master piece, so autor has done a great job, it would be awsome if you can share with people here part of your research about this dragon, can you please post some instructions on how to fold the head of this dragon, or at lease, how to fold the scales at the back of this dragon ,

i realise that the body of ryujin is folded from 2 separate parts and then joined together:

how is the part joined? do you overlap the scales and interlock it as 2layers?
