Bass

Post by Bass »

Howdy,

I've been folding for around 15 years, but up until last year I did not have a camera to document my own inventions. This topic shall, I guess, be a home base of sorts for some of my models.

Here are a few to start, I'm a flower guy, but I'm saving those for a while:

The Snitch, designed and folded by me:

Wyvern, designed and folded by me:

Amphiptere (Greek mythological winged snake), designed and folded by me:

Diagrammed final, as I cannot get the full body in a picture:

Monkey (1st draft), designed and folded by me:

That's all for now, maybe some flowers later as I dig up my stores.

I recently re-designed the wyvern's head to get some eyes. Here's the result so far:

I want to make another few drafts with different colored paper, and then I'd be happy to make some diagrams or a video. Thanks for the interest.

I invented this Penguin in October. Note the extra creases are there because it's the first one I made before deciding on the final structure:

Octopus, designed and folded by me. The boxy look is intentional this time, but I can smooth it out nicely with wetfolding (something I find inconvenient to do on the go).

Scaly Sea Turtle

This past week I decided to try for a turtle. The first version came out beautifully, except for the absence of the entire head portion (one would think I'd have realized that beforehand). So here is the 2nd version, in which I've re-thought the process and made room for a head, it actually has a mouth not seen from this camera angle.
