What did you fold early =P

Today something very strange happened to me. I accidentally lost a needle for inflating balls. I looked for it everywhere. I ended up looking for it, with a flashlight in my hands, inside an old chest full of old junk. It was dark and everything had a coating of dust. As I moved everything around, I ended up looking a tip of a folded paper. That tip looked like a petal fold. It made me so curious that I introduced my hand and I took out the object... this was what I found:

Ok, let me explain: this model has half my age! I improvised this one day I was bored a long time ago. I still remembered it but I really thought I didn't have it anymore. Around that time I had also improvised a peacock. I was very proud of that bird. Well, I was till the day I saw one in person once again. After that, I was so dissapointed cause I had no idea its "tail" doesn't come from behind (like a traditional tail) but from its back. anyway, little after I created my condor, which I consider as my oficial first creation... I suppose it's cause it had a better design.

Anyway... I wanted to show you the oldest model that I still keep, although without knowing. But now that I know, I'm gonna take good care of it .

I remember my first two designs pretty distinctly, even if I have no idea how I folded them. They were a box with a crane on two opposite sides, and the prehistoric bird Diatryma. Other than that, I would for a TON of Sonobe modulars.

Years ago, in this thread, I showed you guys an old fold of mine I accidentally found. Well, the chest where I found that one actually included two more!

This is the peacock I told you guys about:

I loved the fact that I gave the peacock a body with volume, but I eventually discarded it because it didn't have its "tail" in the right place. It was made with the same paper as the plesiosaur I had also improvised.

And this one is actually a variation of Tyrannosaurus Rex by Eduardo Clemente. I was trying to make a kangaroo .

I remember a family member mentioned he talked to a website owner who was looking for an origami kangaroo as a logo. Back then I had no idea about copyright, so I thought I could simply change the head to Clemente's model and present it as my own. I don't know what happened but I think I never showed the model :P.
