That's the same way I design, you could maybe turn it into a hyena

Good idea, it already looks a bit more like hyena then a wolf, now you mention it.

It's my day off, and I've been folding the same base for 5 hours now. Actually made a bear using this base.
Maybe I can squirm another animal from the base later.
For now enjoy,

I made some tissue foil so could make the models I just designed. I like it that you can shape the model more easily, but the result always looks kind crumpled.

So far my own models. Since I made some red/white tissue foil, I decided to try the fox from Roman Diaz, diagrams can be found in Origami Essence and on youtube you can find a video.

That's it for today. Feel free to comment!

Edit: Had to delete a bunch a pictures from flickr...

Nice folds! For the rhino, i might suggest making that second horn a little smaller, maybe hiding the tip and then thinning. Most rhinos have the second horn being smaller than the first. To add realism :D

If it's just mountain and valley folds, how hard could it be?

Thanks for taking a look and for your advice. I feel kinda stupid, you're right it's the first horn that should be the biggest. I'll try to some more adjustments soon, and post the result. Stil got some of that tissue foil laying around.

Based on the comments I got after my latest post of my models, I've been working on them to get them better.

I've tried adjusting my 'wolf' model to make it look more like a hyena. This is the result:
Edit': picture got deleted

I used a picture for shaping. I like the posture of the legs, but the legs should be longer, ears should be bigger etc. Still a work in progress I guess....

I also adjusted my rhino design. Made the second horn smaller (still feel stupid that I didn't noticed that myself) made the legs a bit longer, wich gives it more belly, and didn't sink a part of the back. Kept a picture of a rhino next to me while making the adjustments. Actually think it looks really nice now.

Edit: picture got deleted

I know, but I'm using tissue foil, and I had to make to two sinks , one the upper and one on the lower jaw. I find sinking with Tissue foil really hard. Maybe if use a bigger sheet i could do it more nicely, or maybe using a pen or toothpick. Any advice?

when i do sinks with tissue foil i try to keep the paper as flat as possible and if it is messy i smooth it out with my fingernail.
