Re: Roodborst
Because of the limit on the amount off pictures I can store on flickr, I've had to delete a bunch of my posted pictures. I have now edited all my earlier posts to delete the deleted pictures from my gallery here.
I've tried to keep at least one picture from every model that I've posted earlier here on the forum.
I hope this way you can still see the process and progress I've been through in these 6 pages of origami models.
Please feel free to leave a comment with any praise, critisisme or advise that you see fit.

Re: Roodborst
@loganorigami: Thank you, I really like the lion myself. I haven't made a crease pattern for any of my models yet, because I don't really now how to do that. Maybe I'll look into it someday, or someone can give advice on how to make them.
Here is another new model I'm working on.
Finally found a way to create the saiga antilope. Still a work in progress, body is to big and I'll need to make the right color paper, but here is the first fold:

The link shows the picture I used for the final shaping and posing.

Re: Roodborst
Didn't do that much folding lately since I've been diagramming my goat. Now that's done here is my new model:
Origami Bull
Origami bull by roodborst078, on Flickr

When doodling with my new base I folded a bull. The white bull is second fold. For the brown bull a grafted an extra strip along the diagonal, this way I had more options to form the horns and ears and the model seems to have volume.
Both bulls are closed back.

Re: Roodborst
Cat. Gian Dinh by roodborst078, on Flickr
Origami cat
Design: Gian Dinh
Folder: Roodborst
Diagrams: License to fold
Paper: Wetfolded from 30cm square of elephant hide.
Description: In the netherlands we celebrate 'sinterklaas' on december 5.(Btw, the american santa claus was based on the dutch sinterklaas, pioneers in the 1900 celebrated this in the usa, they copied it. Made sinter klaas a bit thicker, singing songa in front of the chimney, presents in socks in stead of shoes, etc). It is tradition to build a 'surprise' for someone, with a present inside and a poem. This year I made a catpole and added three folds of Gian Dinh's cat. It might look simple but the red one took me 2 hours to shape. Hope you like it.

Re: Roodborst
Thank you polistes. I actually tried this model a year ago or so. Looking at the 11 step diagram I thought it would an easy cat. But I couldn't make it back then. Now I tried again, this was the best result out of 5 folds. Because there are no references for most folds, I made my own so it wouldn't end up crooked and then I had to find a way to shape from the hips on down.

Re: Roodborst
I may be able to help you with drawing CPs for your models--it's pretty easy once you actually know what you're doing. What parts of the drawing process are you having trouble with?roodborst wrote:I haven't made a crease pattern for any of my models yet, because I don't really now how to do that.
