How small can you fold the traditional crane?

How small can you fold the traditional crane?

I made a crane from a 2cm square of foil (see my gallery thread) and I wondered how small folks can fold it? I expect that some of the younger members, with smaller and nimbler fingers than mine, can make it smaller...

1.2 cm by 1.2 cm paper
crane is about 1 cm from wing tip to wing tip

here is the link compared to a penny a traditional normal sized crane and the paper i used to fold it (no tools)

The smallest I have achieved: folded from 1x1cm square, here in comparison to a 1ct euro coin

I recently discovered this guy on flickr:

Although not the traditional crane he folds some really complex models, but then the size of a coin. Really amazing!
