Zoanoid dragon V1 challenge
Hi, me and yevgen are having a competition - a race to fold the zoanoid dragon v1 by Shuki Kato.here we will post progress pics and information about our foldings.
Judging:
1. The first person to fold it will get 5 points.
2. From when all participants have folded it there will be a poll to decide who folded best. Each vote will amount to one point. The person with the most points wins.
If anyone else would like to join please PM me, I would say that if you can't fold the ryujin 2.1 then you shouldn't enter. Deadline for people entering is 15/10/12, which is also when it starts.

It's just a bit easier. Plus no one has folded the 1.0 apart from Shuki so whoever folds it first will be second in the world!

Took me about 60hrs to fold the 2.0 (but I'm slow). You will definitely want to test fold the head and chest area.

Thanks for posting the cp's mummykicks. I was thinking of test folding the head and chest from a 18 X18 grid.

Looks more like torture to fold this then fun to me, but I'll keep an eye on this topic to see who wins. The result is incredible looking dragon!

I have a color mtn/vally cp of the 2.0 if you want it, but not the 1.0.
Honestly the scale transitions to and from the chest seemed the most difficult to do (especially if the arm and leg scales are omitted). It was very difficult to keep the scales in place while collapsing the chest area.

Re: Zoanoid dragon V1 challenge
here is my attempt at the zoanoid dragon version 1. I used a 49x49cm sheet of 28gsm kraft paper. it was very difficult to collapse the chest section but the tail, arms and legs went ok. I kinda rushed the collapsing of the head because of the tiny folds that made it. what do you think?
