Monthly CP challenge: November 2013
Not sure how many people are going to participate since we are in the middle of the Olympiad and participation seems to be lacking during the recent months...
I wanted to choose a CP that hasn't been diagrammed due to the dispute of whether or not people actually fold the model from the CP or not... So I choose a CP from one of my favourite flickr artists: Petr Struchly. Most of his models are complex box-pleating so I choose an earlier model of his... His Katydid.
There are a couple of errors on the CP but just view the notes on this link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/petr-stuchly/5442767728/ ... to see the corrections...
Scroll down on this link: http://www.origami-resource-center.com/ ... -nths.html ... to see how to fold 11ths. That should get you started. This rest is just simple box pleating and 22.5 degree folds
Good luck!

Re: Monthly CP challenge: November 213
Man, this is gonna be easy! And btw, Ben, you made a mistake on the name. You wrote "213", instead of "2013"

Well this is unfortunate. There are no entries to judge!

actually the model he posted was not good enough to attract folders
Re: Monthly CP challenge: November 2013
@Kafar: Sounds good to me.
@mir numaan: I rather think it has to do with the Olympiad, that everyone was very busy and didn't think about folding other things.

It's actually a quite beautiful, artistic model, but as Anna said, the Olympiad made everyone too busy.mir numaan wrote:actually the model he posted was not good enough to attract folders

Mir numaan: or maybe a certain folder was not good enough to fold it well ;P
But in all seriousness I did say at the very start off my post that I wasn't sure how many people would participate because of the Olympiad. And I think that's the reason why we had no entries.
Kafar: great idea
