Monthly CP challenge: December 2013

Post by Kafar »

To make this challenge a bit lively, I choosed to take it under my wings :D

This month model is the Tiger's Head by Kamiya Satoshi.
DEADLINE - 24/12
Image

It is not official CP, I reverse engineered it, based on small part of cp, and photos of finished tiger's head folds - thanks to Kade Chan for publishing those :D
Cp is quite easy to follow and collapse (I hope you will try to do it by yourselves, without the help of photodiagram - it is for your own good to do it yourself), but a bit harder to shape it good. It gives you a lot of freedom in shaping.
Also I have asked Anna, if it is ok, to use this cp - so here it is.

CP REMOVED

Happy folding, and Merry Christmas :D

Nice choice of cp. This should definitely help increase participation :D
And just out of curiosity this is the same head used for Kamiyas complete tiger? He just grafted on a whole body to the cp you have put...?

probably lower part of cp is different in the whole tiger cp - I think it's simplified version of cp - check the whole tiger folded model neck, and neck on just the head - you can notice that the stripes at the neck comes from different places of paper

Wow! Absolutely great idea! I have a big vacation/school break for Christmas, so I'll definitely participate :D
I would rather fail trying than fail without trying....
