Alright now for the judging (which was hard :( )

First off I'd like to say that everyone who designed a model is a winner. Designing is really hard and frustrates all of us. Congratulations for making an original model. All models submitted made me smile. And thank you for that.

In third place:

chesscuber98
with their Turn that Frown Upsidedown
Image

A really cute model and I really liked that it changes. It set it apart from the other smiles. Very nice design!

In second place:

firstfold
with their 20-20 vision pun
Image

Out of all the models, this one made me laugh and smile the most. I liked both puns, but this was my favourite of the two. I loved it!

In first place:
And the winner is...

marmalade
with their Horselaugh
Image

A striking model that captures a caricature of a horse laughing. Extremely well folded, the model seems like it is in motion, with the hair and pose matching. Very good. Very good indeed.

marmalade will be judging the February contest and will also be choosing the March topic.

Congratulations to marmalade and all the other folders!

it's not important to win, but participate :D I am really excited for the geometry challenge

in hindsight, I wonder how many people caught the "instruction on the temple" of the 20-20 glasses, because I only noticed it now. XD

I feel privileged to be in second place after such a fantastic horse.

But since the weather in Chicago is so bad now, I guess I'm just:
