Monthly Folding Challenge - July 2014

Alrighty, judging time! There were a lot of great, and very impressive, models, but when judging I tried to keep the original theme of metamorphosis, and chose the models that embodied the spirit of that theme the most closely for me.

In third place we have pienein with a simple and elegant squid:


For second place is firstfold's New Dog and New House:


And first place is Edg with his Goblin's Head. It has a lot of character, and it is easy to see how it metamorphosed from a crane:
