ODT 5 Round 4: OrigamiGeek vs DJ Origami

Post by Dj origami »

So here are the topics:
- The Renaissance ()
- Math (Anything related to it...)
- Insects

Rules:- One uncut square (or equilateral triangle)
- MC or any kind of glue allowed for shaping
- No cuts

When should deadline be ?

You can but if possible try not to use rectangle larger than 2:1...

Hay man!
I have compleated my fold
I though that I should fold something with a book, because that is what the Renaissance is all about. Also I though I should try to make a Renaissance sculpture, because origami Is a form of sculpture. And I also thougt that I should Make a plage doctor mask because the black plage was arround the time of the Renaissance.
Folding time: 2.5 Hours (plus drying time of the mc)
paper: super thin lokta for origami-shop.com

I would have to say getting the plege mask was the hardest part of the design
EDIT: The tail was created because I hated to see so much paper going to waist, You could also think of it as a good devel, because the plage mask and the tail make it seem evel, but the book and the shaping make it seem good!

I'm very sorry for missing the deadlines, for the past 2 weeks I spent 80% of my free time on studying cause we had 3 exams per week + extra oral exams...
Here is the model I folded few days ago and due lack of free time I folded only the testfold so this is certainly my worst model and worst origami I have folded. I was designing something totally different but due complexity of the CP I was not able to completely design it in 2 weeks...

Anyways, the model should represents the head of the Leonardo da Vinci (although it looks like crumpled ball)created from his sketches.

Sorry again.
