Monthly folding challenge: October 2015
This months topic will be... Cats!
I hear they're very popular on the internets these days. Everyone loves cats!
If you don't like cats, fold a model of a cat looking ridiculous. That'll show 'em!
Rules: one square, no cut!

Now this is something I've wanted to design for a while now. We'll see if I can get something folded.

Most people on this challenge would fold a conventional house cat or a lion. My entry is a little more peculiar. Satoshi Kamiya's Smilodon A.K.A the Sabre Toothed Cat. Folded using a35x35cm sheet of Biotope paper.

^ Sorry, but you have to design your own new model specifically for this challenge. That's the way it's always been. ; )

Do you think it would be better to name it the monthly design challenge?Baltorigamist wrote:^ Sorry, but you have to design your own new model specifically for this challenge. That's the way it's always been. ; )

My Catwoman
Only took a few attempts to get the desired look, but I'm not sure if she's meant to have a tail or not... in the movies she doesn't though.

^ Local links don't work on this forum. You'll have to upload the picture to a site (e.g., TinyPic or Flickr) and link it here.
And I have a good idea. Now to see if I can fold it.

Re: Monthly folding challenge: October 2015
I wanted to do something a little different with this challenge since I haven't folded something weird and funny before.
Hey, have you guys ever noticed that cats and ducks look awful similar while laying down?
The resemblance is uncanny.
So I decided to fold the most regal of the Cat-duck species, the Lion-Duck!
Look at its majestic plumage and mane!
And gaze upon the countenance that only the king of the feline-avian crossbreeds could possess!
