Awesome bag! I'll definitely fold it. Grace, in order to participate, the model must be created (designed) during the month (September). You still have a couple of days! We'd love to see something else as awesome and minimalist as Fold Flat Gift bag. Do you accept the challenge :D?

I gotta confess I can't imagine how is it done. You piqued my curiosity.

Here is my minimalish design, Lambeosaurus lambei: ImageOrigami Lambeosaurus lambei by Travis Nolan, on Flickr
I went for minimal shaping, think it fits this model. One square sheet of 6 inch kami, no cuts or glue. 22.5 degree. More info on my flickr.

I like the sudden burst of entries! Let's see who can get something in last-minute.

Folded from a 9 x 9 cm (3 9/16 x 3 9/16 in) square of wallpaper with a coat of wood sealant on its back. It's not methyl cellulose; I hope that's OK. I'm already asking around if the model already existed.

I know what you mean :). What I like is that most of the participants aren't the usual ones of the monthly design challenges :D.

Congratulations NeverCeaseToCrease on the topic selected for the challenge!

Another submission titled -Four Leaf Clover Bowl

This was a little too easy to put together. I have given Google search a go, but please let me know if you have seen this made somewhere else.

Gerardo's question on the origami mailing list was what made me interested enough to come find this forum. The bowl especially is quite beautiful.

Well I have two new entries going with the geometric theme.
But... my phone really doesn't like me, so you need to check my flickr. I'm not joking, I can't work out how to copy or paste. At least I can post.
And Gerardo, I've made your wallet before but only to fit a square of paper in my pocket.
My flickr
I finally got me some mc!

You must reduce the size of the images to maximum 640 px wide in order to embed them on the forum.

Thank you for your comment; I like Four Leaf Clover Bowl. If you really wish to know if it had already been created, I suggest you ask also in the mailing list. You can also use this thread in the forum: Did this model already exist? Besides those two options, there's a really useful Facebook group named Spot the Creator.

I'm really glad my message on the list took brought you here.

Can you try embedding them from a computer? I checked out the two models on your Flickr account. What did you do with the square's corners?

About the fold in faux leather book cloth, if it wasn't a wallet then I say I'm OK :).
