I've designed three models for this month's challenge. The first two, a Dragon and a Pteranodon, are from stretched bird bases and the third, a Tyrannosaurus, is from a bird base.

I didn't manage to find any paper that did the Tyrannosaurus justice, so I've left it unfolded for the time being. The crease pattern shows all the creases of the finished model however. There is also a simplified version of the crease pattern on my flickr.

Thanks Brimstone, my phone was giving me trouble.
Juston, that t-rex is great.
I have two more bowl variations, but my phone is still giving me trouble so they're not even on flickr yet.

I know, it's insane! Congrats to whoever wins, but twice as much to neverceasetocrease who set a very active topic. It's almost as good as the old design challenges... I almost feel sorry for Balto who has so many designs to judge. And Gerardo, I just folded the corners in and left them there. And I don't have my computer with me for the next few weeks :( .

This last two aren't as minimal as the first ones I presented:

Folded from a 12.4 x 12.4 cm (4 7/8 x 4 7/8 in) sheet of kraft wrapping paper of unknown density. It feels like 75 g/m². The fold starts from a blintz base.

Folded from a 24.4 x 24.4 cm (9 5/8 x 9 5/8 in) sheet of 120 g/m² Stardream paper. I started from a blintz base, but the model actually doesn't need it. I just wanted to give more strength to the model by duplicating its layers.

There's still time left Folderp :o.

It finally worked! I know it's not September anymore, but I promise these were made before then. I'll forgive you if you don't count them though.

It was a tough one this month, but I'm gonna go with Juston and his Pteranodon since I feel it most accurately represents minimalism (i.e., representing a complex subject in only a few folds).
Juston will judge the October challenge.

Oh man! I was hoping to win, or at least one of the participants that doesn't fold figurative models ;).

Well deserved victory juston. It's a beautiful model and picture as well!

Thanks NeverCeaseToCrease and Baltorigamist :).

PS: There had not been such a participative monthly challenge since August and especially July 2016 :o.

Congratulations juston, and once again to neverceasetocrease, the level of participation was insane. And hopefully Baltorigamist's topic will inspire inspire as much participation. It certainly has the potential to. :D

Yes, again, thank you to everybody who participated! Don't forget that you can use what you learned this month in the next month and future challenges. Minimalism is always accepted. :)

Congratulations Juston.

My favorite model was Ponadr's Dragon.
