I forgot to ask, was it folded from a square? I'm assuming it doesn't include cuts nor glue.
Yes, folded from a square with no cuts or glue.

Here is my entry for the challenge. I wasn't posting anything here in years, I hope it's gonna work :)
I call it "Know your north". Folded from a 15 cm square, it's based on dodecagonal symmetry, and has two options how to open it depending of how big object you want to put in...

Here are the pictures

and here a little video

Beautiful model Dazda, I love the wide variety of Tato within tatos that people have made for this challenge. The ease in which it becomes a bowl with platter makes this my favourite so far.

WOW! Two new models for the challenge and there's still a couple of days left :D.

Who else will submit a model before the month is over?

My goal was to fold a tato from a circle and also to use curved folds in the process.

It takes considerable gentle persuasion to fold this Curved Tato.

However, once folded flat, it performs exceptionally well.

Folds and unfolds by pulling at many locations on opposite sides of the circle.

I don't normally fold tatos or other geometric things, nor do I usually use regular hexagons instead of squares. But this month I felt a obligated to try something new, so here it is.

WOW... really glad you gave yourself the chance NeverCeaseToCrease :D!

I suggest you try making the walls just big enough that the tato completely closes on the center when flattened :).

I'm still alive!
Here we have some tesselating tatos:

With a free large tato in the middle!

A single molecule looks like this:
Image
To make it just box-pleat a point, narrow it with spread-sinks, spread-sink it into an octagon, and fold a traditional tato!

I also made this variation on the classic tato which involve repeating the same process on the reverse side. The resulting tato has two pockets, one on each side.

And this slight variation involving 8 reverse folds:

Sorry for the poor image quality, I was a bit rushed and my camera's not great either.
My flickr
I finally got me some mc!

I like the pinwheel look of the underside of your second tato Folderp. Your first one also brings to mind little roses.
