ODT8 R2: Baltorigamist vs. Tankoda

Post by Baltorigamist »

This one should be interesting.
My three topic suggestions are as follows:

1) The Arts: anything related to art forms (paintings, sculptures, music, movies, etc.) represented in origami.
2) Endangered: anything that's currently in danger of going extinct or dying out.
3) Invertebrates: any living thing that doesn't have a backbone.

As far as rules, I'm thinking:
-One regular polygon, no cuts.
-Glue or MC allowed for shaping.
-Multiple entries allowed.

Good luck!

Let's go with choice 1, The Arts.
The rules are fine with me

Hey Balto - things here have gotten very hectic, and its unlikely that I'll be able to get anything done by the 16th... If you're open to an extension, that would be great - if not, and you get something in, you can take it!

Thanks

I’m definitely open for an extension, especially considering I’m hoping to start a full-time, out-of-state job in the next couple weeks. How about the end of the month?

Sorry for dropping off, things have been crazy. I'll see what I can get in by Friday as well?

Here is my entry.
ImageOrigami IAN ANDERSON (Jethro Tull) by Travis Nolan, on Flickr

I designed and folded Ian Anderson - the frontman of the band Jethro Tull - known for one legged flute playing. https://www.pinterest.es/pin/370280400587700619/ - a pic of Ian Anderson.
Greatest band ever, y'all should seriously check them out. Soooo good.

Very rushed design and fold, so it's pretty sloppy, but I'm glad i was able to get something in.

One square sheet of Japanese Foil, 35 cm, no cuts.

I’m a little disappointed to see only three votes, but congrats Tankoda! Your design was (is) great, especially for being so rushed. :)

Yeah, that's too bad. But thank you so much, Balto! I like the color changes on the paintbrush!
