August 2020 Origami Design Challenge
"Summertime"
I'd like to see models related to sun, beach, sea.
Sunglasses, deck chair, beach ball, starfish, flippers - just to give a few examples.
More than one sheet of paper is allowed.
No cuts.
If glue is used it must be stated where and why.
Grace Matthews will be the judge.
Edit:
Any shape of paper.
Multiple models are allowed.

Re: August 2020 Origami Design Challenge
Can I stretch the limits of the rules by making multiple models out of multiple sheets, and having them as one submission?
Re: August 2020 Origami Design Challenge
Yes. Your design would be more the scenery or arrangement and less the individual models. That's art, too.

This is beautiful Baltorigamist. I love the loping stride and the little frisbee.

Sorry for the last minute submission, but now it's an actual competition lol.
Didn't have a long enough table for a proper forced perspective, but I think it turned out nice.
I call it "A day at the beach."
A closer view of each model if you click here: https://i.imgur.com/rKxrqjm.jpg

Thank you both for your entries. Fetch! And ‘A Day at the Beach’ are both excellent models. Both fit the theme of Summertime extraordinarily well.
I am going to declare Nepafarius the winner. Each piece is in scale with the scene and is beautifully made.
The beach umbrella in particular has the little plastic cover on the top from my childhood memories of the picnic table and umbrella outside the shop my family used to buy fish and chips from during school holidays. It was never too hot to buy fish and chips.
Other details which caught my eye were the little rim on the glass and the addition of the straw as well as the ridges and button on the beach ball.
Thank you both for your models. For September Nepafarius will be the judge and will propose the theme for October.
