Star challenge

Post by Brimstone »

There is a note (in Spanish but diagrams are clear enough) at http://jfmoreno.blogspot.com/2006_11_01 ... chive.html regarding what their author call "Eden stars" (Eden is the name of a friend of his after whom he named the stars). At this note, the author Juan Lopez says he has created 83 stars. I wrote to him and he told me he has done more than 150 now. So I was wondering if anyone would like to try to fold one and try its own finishing?

The instructions are simple. First you do a rotated blintz as it is explained there (only do the blintz, the bird base was for another thing and is not useful here). And from there you follow the steps of the diagrams that are a little lower for "Estrella Arabesco" starting from step 2. Post whatever you come up with.

So is anyone up for the challenge?

I have to acknowledge that I had a head start, so don't feel pressured and come up with your own.

Here are mine so far Image
