I'm the judge, so I make the rules
April's rules will not necessarily be the same.
I can't think of too many skull models out there. I recall a Herman Van Goubergen half-skull model that turned into a full skull when you placed it on a mirror, but not too many others.
I will give far more credit to people who design their own models.
Grizzy - I can't think of a single model that hasn't been adapted from another model (including all of my designs). If you think you can turn a mask into a skull, go for it!
And I like all sorts of origami, from simple to complex. So don't worry if you are not Kamiya Satoshi, it it is original, and I like it, you'll win.
The entries so far are all great, with some novel solutions to the puzzle.

I once set up an origami PLC. But the business folded.

You have the rest of the week to submit a photo, so get going!
The winner will get to judge next month's competition, and will have the right to declare himself/herself/itself the supreme folder of the entire universe for the next 30 days. The top three will all be invited to suggest subjects/rules for future competitions.
I already have a subject and rules for next month, which I will post in the next couple of days. The next one will be an easier task to enter.
One of the rules will be that anyone who posts a 'that is great' post in the submissions thread will be shot at dawn. THIS is the discussion thread

Not strictly pureland, but can technically be made with just mountain and valley folds, so I'll allow it.
The following model uses such folds in the beard, and is a two-square pureland model.
