So this model I'm gonna submit for this challenge is only partly my model, since it actually only is a way to fold four of Roman Diaz's frogs (yes, I'm addicted to this model...) out of one square.
The final result might be considered to be an ashtray (even though it's very unlikely someone has an ashtray like that...)

Hey man, it's alright if you don't think your work is 'up to par' with other people, but you shouldn't give a disclaimer along with your submission. It's quaint and neatly folded, definitely not crappy in my book.

A reminder (from the bloke who is judging this month) : Could everyone make sure that the name of the designer of the model, as well as the folder are included on each post. Also, indicate whether the model is a square, whether it is cut, and whether is it a multi part model.

For those who have not done all of the above, please use the 'edit' function to add them to their posts ;-)

Regards, Fishy

And a second reminder from the one who gave this challenge. :)
The restrictions for this month only allow models made of one square without cuts. And also the designer and folder of the model have to be yourself.
So long and keep folding ^_^

Pardon Me While I adjust My Teeth

Post by firstfold »

Here is am update on the model I presented previously the "spring/worm gear.

Image

The two gears in this model can be made from a square sheet of paper and thus qualify for this contest. The rest of this model is made from rectangles - no glue or cuts. The model moves a little - but not very well, I need to adjust the teeth in the standard gear. Not sure if I can get it working before the end of june.

Cookie Cutter witrh Dough

Post by firstfold »

Now to go from the mechanical to something with a little heart.

This is a Heart Shaped Cookie Cutter with Cookie Dough. Both are part of one uncut sheet of 12 inch paper (white back, Brown Front).

No - the pan is not part of the model !
