“Bronze Horseman”(monument to Peter The Great, Russia, Saint-Petersburg)
Now That's a sculpture! I was wondering when this challenge would get going let alone hit high gear. Definitely high gear now! Fantastic work!

garfield1, PauliusOrigami, penselen, thank you!

No. There are four paper sheet: three square for Peter the Great, its horse and the stone plus one rectangle for the snake.

Does the Astor Place Cube count? http://blogblabbin.files.wordpress.com/ ... /alamo.jpg
It took me hours to make anything like a cube standing on a corner!!!!!!!

Well, Victoria can't win the challenge anyway since it's her challenge. Take it as inspiration :)
So long and keep folding ^_^

Your model is really amazing, Victoria. At first, I was certain that the horse and rider were from the same square.

And here's my very late submission :

Statue of Liberty (because someone just HAD to make her)
I would've folded her a lot earlier this month, but the lame weather (rain, wind and more rain) prevented me from glueing tissue fold outside.

Fantastic Sunburst!

Here's my entry to the challenge, folded from 6 squares: the body, helmet, sword, shield, cloak and stone.

King Alfred The Great

Alfred is one of Englands' most famous kings. This statue stands in Winchester where I live, and what was the capital of Wessex which he ruled over. His reign marked the beginnings of a kingdom of England.

Sunburst, this is a wonder. It's beautiful and it must have taken all month.

Matt, your work is shaped well as usual, and I like your subject. Between the two, I like Liberty. Great efforts guys.
