Does anyone keep a list of the topic of past monthly challenges?

Hmm, thats an interesting question Brimstone. I checked around and it appears all the challenges are still on the forum (they began in March 2007). I'll make an archive thread anyway, if a mod cares to sticky it. Y'never know, this forum section might fill up in the next few years

That's very nice of you Joe. I had seen that past challenges were still on the forum, but would not volunteer to index them

Okay guys, I finally made some paper myself, and also folded my new design from one of the sheets:
mother & child (two giraffes)

Wow you actually made your own paper!
What ingredients did you use...and was it Lafosse technique?

Twin Maidens designed by me. Folded from a 29cm square of very heavy paper.

Wizmatt - I used 100% abaca fibers without sizing for this paper, and yes, it was Lafosse's tecnique (Which is widely used in papermaking I think)
the MC/color was added later.
Anna - nice maidens! the heads are very good.

Just joined. Not sure if I'm skilled enough to meet this months challenge but I am very interested in being a part of the min the future. Also... I'd LOVE a thread that has all of the past challenges all together! GREAT idea!
Great job on all of the twins so far!!!!
What did the Origami Artist say to the paper?
Don't be a square.
