It's a bird, it's a horse... it's a frog?

Image

My entry this month is Pegasus, folded from a frog base. You start by stretching two of the long flaps up and using them to form the wings. The head and tail are folded from the other two long flaps and the legs are folded from the webbing (formerly the four short flaps) that connects the four long flaps together. The center flap is sunk and spread to form the body between the wings.
The world's worst photographer now has a flickr account... enjoy!

I'm definitely going to have to try that Pegasus.
[flickrEtsy] You can also friend me on Facebook; just be all "origami, man!" and I'll be all "origami, bro!" and then we'll have fun Facebook adventures.

what a beautiful peacock interpretation, tomasz! the simple bases still give a treasure chest to choose from.

Well, there's some very stiff competition but never mind. My first attempt at the monthly competitions:

Basic Beetle, from a windmill base.
