It depends on how many times you've posted i.e. I think it's 50 posts before you are a junior member and 1000 posts before you are a bhudda.

Newbie,
50 posts
Junior member
100 posts
Super member
250 posts
Senior member
500 posts
Forum Sensei
1000 posts
Buddha

How to use this list:
Read the title, the number underneath is what you have to get to before your rank changes again.
Newbies who read this list and want to be buddhas, DO NOT SPAM TO REACH THE NEXT RANK. I'd kind of need an admin to explain further.

Actually it is like this:

Newbie ... 0 - 49
Junior Member ... 50 - 124
Super Member ... 125 - 249
Senior Member ... 250 - 499
Forum Sensei ... 500 - 999
Buddha ... 1000+

But the rank doesn't mean anything. It is just there for fun.

then what are these moderators and administrators?

Administrators are the ones who are able to delete accounts, assign Moderators, approve, edit, move and remove posts. Moderators can approve, edit move and remove posts.

To be Moderator or Administrator has nothing to do with your post count but whether you have been chosen and agreed to do the task. This is a closed group that doesn't take any new members at the moment.

@origami 8, why don't you remove all these in-active users?

I don't believe the value of a user is based on the rank or 'activity'. Some of the oldest experts seldom post, and the world authorities chime in mainly when their comments are precisely pertinent, or when they have .... free time :-) Expertise, age, and rank aren't necessarily correlated.

@mir numaan: No you can't become Moderator.
@HankSimon: Very well said,I fully agree.

Helpful. I kind of figured 0-49 was Newbie because I had 49 posts, then I checked after I posted again and I had 50 and Junior member :D
