Security Questions

Hi everyone,

our security questions got compromised once again, so I want to ask you a favour:
Please think up new questions!
They should be easy enough that a short Google search is enough to get the answer, but the answer should ideally not be a common English word, as these are easily cracked by Spam Bots. It would also be good if the question is somehow Origami related. The Moderator team has run out of ideas and we really need new questions as soon as possible.

We had good success with questions like: "What is the other name of the Origami creator Kasahara?"

Just to give you an idea, since yesterday, I deleted 27 Spammers with over a hundred posts. If everything runs smoothly we usually have less than 2 Spammers a week. So these questions are very important.

I think that the photo questions might be to hard for a newbie. But the question about the Origami Society could work well. Thank you for the input!

The more questions we can collect the better, so please everyone be creative.

Which Japanese paper is colored on one side but not the other?

Which Japanese is widely credited with popularizing origami?

Who founded the Friends of the Origami Center of America, precursor to Origami USA?

Who went from being a highly respected Physicist to America's Origami sensei?

You make rabbit ear folds on both sides of the paper. Which origami base have you made?

You make mountain book folds and valley diagonal folds. You fold them all at once and wind up with a triangle. Which origami base have you made?

What kind of paper holds its shape after being folded?

Sorry but they are all far to complicated.
People have to be able to easily find the answer. We actually do want to enable people to join this community even if they are not familiar with Origami history and names of basic folds.

In lack of better ideas, I settled with non-Origami questions for the moment, like "What is the capital of country xy?"
I'm also glad for non Origami related questions if you have good ideas.

This may be late, but "What is the most known traditional model?" (Crane)

Thank you for the input, but like I wrote, we try to avoid answers that are common English words, as these are very likely to be cracked by brute force attacks of Spambots very easily.
Apart from that it would be a good question.

With the Kasahara question, I found I had to google it, so it may not " enable people to join this community even if they are not familiar with Origami history and names of basic folds."

How about asking for the name of the largest origami group in Japan?

Not easy enough to google and people who haven't been in contact with other folders might not know it.

Yes, that's intended. Everyone who found this Forum is probably capable of a short internet search. If you type in the two words "Kasahara Origami" in any internet search engine, the answer will probably be revealed in all the top search results, without the need to even open one of them.
This is sufficient to keep out Spammers and easy enough for people who want to join, therefore this is the kind of question we are looking for.
Japanese creator names are perfect as Spam bots who just try a brute force attack with common English words don't know them, but it is important to check that there aren't two designers with the same name.

Yes. It seems that the new question has been doing a lot better, I am not noticing a large increase that I see when there is spammers.
