Only works if you are not signed in to Flickr.

If you go to "All Sizes" switch to "Medium" before copying the photo url, to have an appropriate size for the forum.

I recently noticed flickr's user interface has changed so i can't get the url for my photos. If I can't get hold of the url, how can i insert pictures?

When you are on your photo page you have to switch to "All Sizes" then go to Medium size, right click on the photo and copy the image url.

On the new flickr they added a "medium 640" size. Please use this one for your posts since it has the ideal width for this Forum. The picture Link ends with _z.jpg now (or gif, bmp,...).
If you mistakenly take a wrong size url, just change the letter in the end to z.

A bit slow to take it in but- To upload images, you need Flicr or equivilant or your own website, right?

Resizing pictures (urgent)

There's a limit for the width of embedded pictures. It's 640 px. I just learned that there yould be a way to resize pics using bbcode. It's:

[img width=100 height=200]http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7038/6805 ... ab82_b.jpg[/img]

OR

[img=100x200]http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7038/6805 ... ab82_b.jpg[/img]

But as you can see, it doesn't work. Is there a way to resize the pictures directly from the forum?

It's urgent because this would affect the rules in the Inter-forum challenge I started this month so I would really need to know if there's a workaround before I tell my friends in the other forums.

THANK YOU!

PD: Looks like there's a glitch with the search module. It reported an error when I tried to search for this topic.

For flickr pictures, just replace the _b in the end with _z and you have the correct size.

PS: Since we already have a sticky topic about resizing pictures I merged your topic inside. Please use existing topics to collect all information in one place.

I have my pictures online, i tried the (img) things, and it couldn't determine the size of the image. Gerado will know what i mean, i'm using his site. I'm now stuck with using links.

What do you mean with "it couldn't determine the size of the image"?
