lokta and sizing

Post by bethnor »

out of curiosity, do you guys who use lokta add sizing? i've been doing it out of compulsion, but now i'm thinking the paper is actually kinda heavy and doesn't need it.

Personally, I rarely use lokta (as it's too heavy for many of my models), but I find it to be too soft to work with if I don't add sizing.

As it is a handmade paper, you will find very different sheets on the market.

But in general I do find it too soft on its own and so I almost always do size it or make duo or sandwich sheets with it, most often using MC.
