collect the figures ? you mean collecting the models Santa , rabbit head, caribou, the hare of Inaba and the dwarf all are in JOAS 2011 special edition you could get it on "Scribd" the monthly payment isn't that expensive but the graphics suck the cps have been directly photographed from the book so it isn't a good app (this is with all the origami books on this app) but I usaully purchase books from https://www.origami-shop.com/en/ they are really good their prices aren't bad https://origami.jp/en/ the volumes are cheap this is the place for Tiger Beetle and the Horned Owl https://www.origamihouse.jp/ is really expensive I almost never buy anything but the books are the best the best!!! is that what your asking for?

Most, if not all, origami books and magazines in Scribd were uploaded illegally. No one should really download them from that platform. It's not cool with the people that worked on them. You know?

Well, I fear that's not the case. At least most of the Origami stuff there has been uploaded illegally and as long as no one complains they just assume the people who uploaded the stuff hold the rights... A complaint can only be made by the person who holds the rights for a work (e.g. book, magazine, diagram,..). So for example, for the Tanteidan stuff JOAS would have to file a complaint for every single book or magazine. This would be a lot of work regularly monitoring all the sharing sites out there and filing complaints. Given that some of the stuff is already out of print and they don't really loose money if someone downloads it for free, many of those holding the rights simply don't care to file those complaints. That doesn't make the distribution of those materials legal. Simply because you pay for it, doesn't mean those selling it to you rightfully own it. Sorry.

ok your right but even if it is legal or illegal we can at least say Scribd is the worst app for reading origami books.

It is very difficult to keep track of all pirated copies. It is extremely difficult to delete something from the Internet if it has already got there once. Of course, I do not encourage piracy, but sometimes I myself am sinful when I am not sure of a purchase and want to have a "probe" first. I have several shelves of books that I bought after reading the free download of the electronic version.
