Dextrina based glue

Post by Daniel Morita »

I couldn't find any CMC glue around my new town, so i purchased a glue said to be specific for any kind of paper. It's a dextrina-based glue. In portuguese it's "goma arabica". don't know how it is in english.
Anyways, i can perfectly fine make double tissue and use it to make details, but couldn't make a good tissue foil. The tissue rips apart on the very first fold, either on the paper or on the aluminum side.
Anyone knows if it's due to the glue? or something else? And other easy-to find glue suggestions also.
Thanks.
