Making Paper

Post by sajprj »

So, i was making double tissue with regular white glue, and after brushing my water/glue mix onto the two pieces of tissue paper, i left it overnight to dry, and when i tryed to peel it off, the paper just stuck onto the glass and in some parts it started to rip from sticking to the glass.

Also, is there any tissue paper that is 60cm x 60cm or 70cm x 70cm? if so, could you tell me where to buy?

Thanks,

Sam J.

If you want to make double tissue, check out the MC-Methyl Cellulose forum. White glue's (probably) not going to work. It should be MC-based, such as craft glue or wallpaper glue.

You can buy large paper at origami-shop.com or you can just get a roll of large tissue wrapping paper at most hobby/craft stores.
