Vog/crumpled paper use

Post by saurabhsharma0130 »

I know there are many threads on this topic but often emotions run very high so I wasn't able to get the information I wanted from them. I have used the paper in two situations, in the first I folded kade chan's Capricorn with diluted silver acrylic paint on one side and the result required no extra additions. On the second I folded kamiya's Pegasus and used tiny amounts of thick mc to hold the layers together in the feet back and head. My question is, is there any way to preemptively counter the springiness and if so, would it leave the texture. Or if that's not possible, how do I thin appendages and horns and such after finishing the model.
