Looking for 6" tissue paper

Post by valerite »

So I went to check my origami stash and it seems I do not have enough 6" green tissue papers left to complete my project !

My family has had this package for a while; it is unmarked now, just containing tissue paper
It has multiple colours, including dark and lime green. The lighter green is nicely saturated, the colour I want.

The papers I found are:

if anybody has that item, is the green saturated and nice? same item is also available on PaperJade, if you shop there
also, this green is not the colour I want:

it is too dark and greyish

I have made a temporary solution by baking my darker green with yellow, but this question would still be nice to have answered.

If you have a local Hobby Lobby, you could try their gift wrapping tissue. It is probably my favorite tissue paper for making DT. The color seems similar to what you want. As for getting it six inches, your pretty much out of luck buying it, you'll have to cut it yourself. If you haven't already, invest in a nice self healing cutting mat and a good yardstick.
