Making large paper out of small ones

Post by PleatBox »

Hello everyone, I'm Pleatbox, and I'm wondering if you can make a large piece of paper using small ones? The paper I commonly use for complex models are about 50 cm. I want to make a larger one for Ryujin 3.5 or phoenix. My idea is connecting two or more pieces of paper together for the first layer, then stick another one, but in between the edges of the paper. My question is if its even possible? I mean, will the paper be good enough? Also, is triple tissue paper good? Will it be suitable for Ryujin and phoenix? Thanks in advance :)

I personally use tape to get larger paper than what I have available. It sure hasn't failed me so far. You just have to be careful that it doesn't show.

Never tried triple tissue so I can't answer that.
