What Paper Should I Use For _____?

As the topic title suggests, this thread is like the “What To Fold?” thread—but in reverse. The idea is that members post a model they’re looking to fold, and others suggest paper (type, size, etc.) that would be most suitable.
I find that I’m often unsure of what paper to use for a given model, hence this topic.

For a leafy sea dragon I’ve been wanting to fold, I’m torn between gold Ogami and yellowish-brown kozo. (Size isn’t an issue.) What would look best?
Note that I don’t currently have any suitable greens; and single tissue isn’t strong enough.

Naoki Takeda Santa Claus? Most recommend two color (White/Red) very thin paper of at least 30 inches square. Where would you get that?

You'll probably have to make it yourself. You can get two sheets each of red and white tissue paper (20x30") and glue them together side-by-side.

Yes.
I don’t know which brand of tissue is best, unfortunately, so it might take a few tries.

I am going to try Komatsu's owl. What size and type of paper would you recommend?

I am trying to fold donny_origami's facehugger. What size and type of paper would you recommend for this? (Also would 6" kami work, not easily, but without being to impossible?)

Sorry for the late reply. I've never folded it, but people have had luck with larger (35cm?) biotope if I remember correctly.

I don't think kami would work. Use double tissue, maybe.

Finally, I had a go at Komatsu's owl. I folded it using paper ranging from 25x 25 cm to about 12 x 12 cm. The model is not complex, so you do not need large sheets or thin paper. Chose a paper that allows you to fold models that require some tension. Regarding the size, chose a relatively small size; when I used a large size the model gave the impression that it was just the head of an owl.
