Origami-Shop Karape

I have about 10 sheets of the stuff, but I’ve never been able to MC it without getting wrinkles and tears. Will it work to fold it dry (without treating)?
(I’m talking about the brown tissue paper, not Shadowfold (which is sold as karaperapisu).)
