Korean Hanji

Hi, I recently got some Korean Hanji. Does this need to be treated with methyl cellulose like unryu?

I folded something recently from untreated Korean hanji and it turned out fine, but with larger paper I think it would've been necessary to treat it. If you have MC and know how to treat paper, I'd recommend treating it.
