Large Tissue Paper

Post by dinogami »

Hi all! - Does anyone have a source for sheets of colored tissue paper in sizes larger than 20 in. (51 cm) on the shortest side? I've found archival white sheets that are 30 x 40 in. (76 x 102 cm), but nothing in the usual colored tissue paper. Weird how it seems to only come in smaller sheets than hanji, mulberry, unryu, etc. Thanks if anyone has a good source!

No, I don't know where to buy large tissue, but I thought this diagram someone drew might help:

That's a clever idea! I'll have to think about how to line up the not-quite-overlapping pieces so their edges are perfectly parallel, but that'll be a fun puzzle to solve. Thanks for sharing that!

I have found 30x40 colored sheets. I don't know how active this post is though...https://www.amazon.com/Tissue-Colored-R ... ZDV1G3EPDZ
