Hello everyone,
I am wanting to make Brian Chan's Leaf Katydid, and I have heard you need single tissue paper.
I couldn't find how to make it, and I knew there was a video somewhere but cannot find it now. I also have searched through google and snkhan, with no results that help me. Any help?
Thanks,
Enthusiast

Same thing as double tissue but only one layer. Glass -> mc -> roll the paper on -> optional layer of mc on top

Okay.
Thanks
I'll try out the MC on top, because I don't want it to be too not crisp.
The 'problem' that worries me is that mine is bleeding, but I have heard that kind is still stronger.
I'm just kind of worried about how to display it if I like the result if it is bleeding, lol
Thank you

Hi sorry to revive this oldish topic. Ive tried to make single tissue a few times but every time the paper ends up sticking to the glass surface and i cant remove it. Is it something to do with the consistency of my cmc paste? if so how can i solve the problem? Thanks in advance.

Use thinner CMC (i.e., add more water to the mixture). You want it to be about the consistency of egg whites.
