Paper question???

Post by DViener »

Hi I am new and this may have been asked before but I notice in some YouTube tutorials from Mariano Z and Jo Nakashima they use something that looks like Kami but has a different sheen to it like in Mariano’s Totoro tutorial. It looks better than Kami you get in the store and it is definitely not tissue.
Does this make any since?
Thanks for any input

This is an oldish question... sorry no one replied. The truth is, I don't know what paper is that. As you can see, this forum isn't as active nowadays.

Try asking in The Origami Mailing List: https://lists.digitalorigami.com/mailma ... fo/origami

Or Origami-dan on Discord: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=14952

@DViener Welcome on board.
Could you maybe link to a video where you've seen this paper? It's a bit difficult to say what kind of paper it might be if I don't know a specific video it is used in.

@Gerardo, instead of sending people away, you could welcome them and try to help solve their question. Just saying.

Sorry origami_8. If you prefer, I'll stop pointing to other groups. I always answer the questions I can here on the forum, but there are so many I simply don't know the answer to. And people like DViener have had to wait a month or so, often more than that, for a reply here on the forum; That's why I thought I was helping them by pointing elsewhere.

Sorry for going off-topic as well ;).
