Stellated Dodecahedron assembly
Hi, my name is Tom, and I am currently in a deep conundrum. I bought the book '3-D Geometric Origami: Modular Polyhedra' by Rona Gurkewitz and Bennett Arnstein; wanting to making a stellated dodecahedron, I folded 30 units of 'Equilateral Triangle Strip System I' - that was the easy part. Now, as I am trying to assemble it, I have no idea how to approach it - the modules don't really lock together all that well, so I can't really experiment; can someone please help me? Do I connect pyramids over and over? If you can shed any light at all on this problem, I would be very grateful. Either greater or lesser stellated dodecahedra would be helpful.

I don't know if your using this module:

But it works And on the page they say for small stell... you assemble so that 5 units make one spike and for great you put in 3 for each spike. Check it on these pics.

See, 3 units per spike, 5 spikes around point.

and, 5 units per spike, 3 spikes around a point.
The assembly should do the bending and guide you .
