There's a crease pattern on his website. The url escapes me, but I know it's on Joseph Wu's site. It's something like, "Hideo Komatsu's Origami Plans".

According to the photo caption, it's in issue 75 of the Tanteidan magazine.

Alas, Tanteidan 75 just has crease patterns for two slightly different versions of the lion. (They do at least mark mountain and valley folds differently, unlike the CP on Hideo Komatsu's site.)

As far as I know, no full diagrams exist for this model at the moment. It may yet appear in a future issue of the Tanteidan magazine or in next year's Tanteidan convention book.

I don't think, that he has the diagrams. I've asked him 3 times for them and didn't got them until now :/

Is there someone on this board who owns this issue of Tanteidan? Can someone scan it or something so we can see the crease pattern?

thnx

I am sorry, arcanis. That is against copyright and we try not to do that on this board. However, Komatsu has graciously put the crease pattern on his site:

http://www.origami.gr.jp/~komatsu/gallery/lion.html

Try looking around, first, before you go the illegal route.

Thanks!

Saj, do you think it's time for a general announcement to the effect that this board does not support the scanning, reproduction or trading of copyright materials, and that all posts going against this principle will be deleted?

Maybe this would open up the board for some more interesting topics...
