Any diagrams for these kind of orbs??

Postby arkan » April 16th, 2006, 12:52 pm

I have tried the orb in the link below
http://v3.espacenet.com/jpeg?PN=US6027819
and the result is this one
Image

but it is not so sturdy and some "flaps" flying out.

The above orb seems more sturdy and more beautiful, any one can provide the diagram for this one?

Thanks

You should at least try to post your own pictures instead of linking to someone-else's picture saying that it is your result....

Concerning diagrams you should read this topic:
http://snkhan.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=648
You might find something useful there.
So long and keep folding ^_^

Try this:
http://www.spencerandbrown.com/mbb/origami/buscard/index.html#Orb

Btw, there is no need to post the same picture again and again.... there is a nice thing called "scroll bar" to enable people to see previous postings....
So long and keep folding ^_^

Orbs

Arkan,

Try folding two opposite corners to the center before collapsing the unit. This will have the effect of hiding the loose paper.
