Origami Dancers - Jeremy Shafer

Post by Yinna »

Hello everyone,

I started this wonderful new hobby a while ago and I came across to an origami I'd love to make.
The problem is that I got stuck at some point, I didn't quite understand the instructions and how to be done whatsoever.

I got stuck at 9th step and from then on. I don't really get what does pleat-sinking implies nor what comes up next.
If anyone can help me with anything, advice, images, maybe a video, I'd very much appreciate it.

Thank you in advance.
Have a nice day! :)

He just combined nominations. "Pleat" is a reference to a series of Mountain-Valley-Mountain-Valley... folds, in a zig-zag pattern. It's shown in my photo. "Sink" refers to a bunch of paper going either inside or outside an area.

You should be able to see it in the pictures I posted,

BUUUUT, I warn you that following these instructions alone will NOT grant you the desired result. Aditional steps are required in order to achieve the pictures show, unless I'm garbage at origami and can't follow diagrams.
